Bio
You wouldn’t think Andre Villa was supposed to ride a dirt bike growing up in the mountains of Norway, a winter wonderland for 8 months a year. With a bloodline strong in motorsports, with everything from Scandinavian Ice Rally championships to Norwegian Motocross Championships, it was only a matter of time before Villa carved out his own niche in the family tree; freestyle motocross.
The Norwegian fmx’er now splits his time between two of the hot beds of the sport: Torrevieja, Spain, where he owns one of the biggest riding compounds in the world and Temecula, CA. Villa proved he is one of the top freestyle competitors on the planet when Villa finished 2nd overall on the 2010 Red Bull X-Fighters series. Villa finished 3rd in 2011 without even competing in the final two events due to a snapped femur.
Now on the road to recovery, Andre is working hard to be back and ready to go for the 2012 season. Andre is a monster on the FMX scene and he’s definitely going to have some eyeballs on him as he chases down the 2012 X-Fighters Championship title.
