Chad Sharpe

Birth Place: Winnipeg MB, Canada

Current Living: Orlando, FL

Years Riding: 12

Sponsors: SPY, Ronix, Billabong, Malibu, Reef, Performance, Bern helmets

Stance: 24

Why Spy: Spy is a great company to ride for. They are supportive of the riders and we have a rad team…and the product is sick. I love the Clash!

Team member since: 2001

After a big fall or injury; What motivates you to get up and do it again: I hate being on the side lines. Just being out itself is enough motivation along to get you back out there and go.

Favorite Trick: Big Glides

Describe how you feel when you can't ride due to and injury or travel, etc: Frustrated and really bored. It gives me the drive to come back as soon as possible and heal.

Favorite country, spot, hill, park, etc: I love going home to Vancouver. It’s such a rad place, but my favorite is at home in Orlando.

Describe your perfect day: Ride all day and play hockey at night.

Favorite Spy sunglass and/or Goggle and why: The Clash.  I love the size of the frame. It’s big so it blocks a lot of sun and it looks tight too.

Contests or Freeride? Describe likes and dislikes: Contests are good when I do well; it feels good that all of the training is working. But freeriding is the best because you have the freedom to do what ever, try new tricks and not worry about falling.

Most inspired by: My friends

Favorite Tunes: Lots of stuff depends what mood I’m in. Rock, rap, country, 80s or whatever.

Where you coming from and what's next: Just getting ready for the season riding a lot. Hopefully good contest results and sick video sections.

What Videos will you featured in 2007: Sean Kilgus new project, Getting Rad the Ronix style guide, Up Dog

Favorite Photographer and/or Artist: That’s a complex question…Monet?
