    The inaugural SPY Del Moto Derby Invitational brought a new type of horsepower to the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 17, marking the very first motocross race in San Diego County Fair history. Held inside the Del Mar Arena, riders were challenged by berms, whoops, tables and double kickers fit for any pro level race. Showcasing amateur and professional arena-style motocross racing in 450cc and 250cc classes, as well as 65cc and 85cc for young riders, the Del Moto Derby delivered an event the Southern California motocross community has long-awaited.     The Babbitt’s Monster Energy Amsoil Kawasaki team swept the podium at Round 3 of the 2012 AMA Arenacross series at Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis., Nov. 12. Tyler Bowers worked his way through the pack, pulling away with a convincing 8-second lead and the win, while teammates Chad Johnson and Josh Demuth finished a respective 2nd and 3rd to round-out the trifecta. The previous weekend in Baltimore saw the same result, with Demuth and Johnson flip-flopping 2nd and 3rd, making Round 3 the second sweep of the season for “Team Green.” The Team heads to Round 4 of the Series at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barre, Pa.     SPY amateur riders Blake Green, Mitchell Falk and Derek Drake knocked out the competition taking wins in their respective classes at the second round of the Triple Crown held at Cahuilla Creek on November 6th. The near-perfect conditions at the track resulted in a great turnout with SPY MX Team Manager Kyle Krause on hand offering SPY MX goggles up for demo, beer for drinking, and shelter from the occasional rain shower. Future star Blake Green had his first race in the Schoolboy class and battled back from 4th to take the lead and win, while Mitchell Falk and Derek Drake looked solid earning top spots in their classes in the 85 division.     Tyler Bowers airs it out on the way to victory in the SPY Klutch Throwback Blue Defending AMA Arenacross Champion Tyler Bowers inaugurated his 2011/2012 season with a win at the Arenacross opener on October 29 in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Fargo Arena. The California-born Kentuckian took advantage of carnage mid-moto, sling-shotting past a Chad Johnson/Zach Ames crash to take the No. 1 spot, which he defended relentlessly through the final laps.     Antonio Cairoli won his 5th world championship this past weekend at the MXGP of Germany. At the first race of the season Tony twisted his knee and finished 9th place and was way behind in the championship points. He worked hard to get his knee back in shape and never looked back.
