SPY's foray into the world of SnowX goggles came to fruition with the help of Snowcross World Champion Tucker "T-Train" Hibbert and SPY's official eyewear sponsorship of the 2012/13 ISOC Racing Series. Together, we took the best attributes of our bad to the bone MX goggles and fused them with snow technologies that we have pioneered and hung our hats on for over a decade. These ain't your mommas SnowX goggles.

SPY Optic™ announced a multi-year sponsorship deal with professional surfer, 2011 Surfer Poll "Best Barrel" winner and all-around hell man Alex Gray. This past year was a particularly "big" one for Alex, nabbing some of the heaviest waves during Tavarua and Teahupoo's historic "Code Red" swells, earning him the coveted "Best Barrel" honor and a nomination for Billabong's XXL award. More recently Gray was part of the paddle crew that took on massive Jaws—a remote wave on Maui with so much size and velocity that most surfers only tow into it. Despite a thirst and aptitude for treacherous surf, the 25-year-old also holds his own when it comes to laying it on rail or punting airs. "SPY is a fun brand that has deep roots in surfing and makes great product," says Gray. "The president and CEO of the company is a fellow South Bay native which is rad. I'm stoked to be on board with such a solid team, and I'm looking forward to pulling some ladies in my new SPY glasses!" . Nate is a classic original, a surfer that exudes timeless West Coast style and whose ability in the water is on par with the most progressive surfers in the world, says SPY Surf Segment Manager John Oda. We're launching The Foundation, a line of vintage-inspired product that focuses our brand on the most enduring values of surfing, wrapping that business exclusively around a small, select number of core shops, and aligning that program with undeniably authentic, talented personalities. Nate rips, he has incredible depth of character, his style is his unparalleled, and there's not a better ambassador for The Foundation line as SPY reaffirms our heritage at the beach. Tyler joins the current elite SPY surf roster that includes Wade Goodall, Parker Coffin, Mike Losness and John John Florence. Between road trips and boat odysseys, the Central Coaster will be updating fans on his weblog, www.simonsmoothballs.com, administered from his off-the-grid yurt in Templeton, Calif,
