Hometown: Big Bear, California

As a wee lad growing up in Big Bear, California, “the mecca of park snowboarding,” Zak had a front row lift chair to see the world’s top pros compete. Not one to sit around, Zak made tracks of his own, earning his first sponsorship at the ripe age of nine. Zak is now one of the two longest-tenured Monster Snowboarders, and he’s got the technical ability and street credibility to back it up. A member of the elite Burton Pro Team, Zak is currently putting his aggressive, progressive focus and riding to work in the backcountry and on a wide range of video projects.
