This one started with a simple, real-world need: bigger-build anglers who were tired of making compromises, squeezing into frames that didn't fit, dealing with side glare, wind, spray, and that half-second of fog that always seems to show up at the worst time. We set out to build an oversized wrap that delivers complete coverage, confidence-at-speed visibility, and all-day stability in the elements, specifically for the Waterman who doesn't wait for "nice conditions."

As development ramped up, we linked with a few of our key anglers from Southern California to the Northeast. Anglers like Ben Secrest, James Fischer and Rob Radloff from inshore missions to fall hunts chasing bluefin tuna. Key points being long term fit and comfort, performance application and most of all visibility. What we found was that we had struck gold especially for those anglers looking for a larger size sunglass, whether that was for the need of a larger person or more protective wrap arounds to shield from the elements.

At the core is our 8x4 optically correct lens geometry, a high-wrap base that's designed to be more optically correct when you're looking through the top and bottom of the lens (because you don't live your day looking straight ahead).

Fog-Resistant Venting & Sweat Management, Built In

The real secret weapon is airflow and it's often overlooked. MAINLINE uses Scoop® Venting and a double-bar bridge venting approach designed to move hot air up and out, especially around the nose bridge area where fog loves to start. And because heat is only half the battle, MAINLINE also integrates internal sweat channels and internal eye-wire sweat release channels that help manage moisture when things get heated—on deck, on the track, or anywhere your heart rate spikes.

Locked-In Fit for Real Movement

When you're running offshore, setting your spread, or bouncing down a washboard road, "pretty secure" isn't secure enough. MAINLINE is built with co-injected rubber on the temples, rubberized adjustable nose pads, and grip-focused details (including topo texture in the rubber) to reduce slippage when you're wet, sweaty, or both.

There's also a leash hole in the temple tips for a quick lanyard connection, because gravity is undefeated, and we'd rather your shades stay with you.
